A Christmas proposal

By Bride and Groom 20 June 2016

The most memorable part of Stephanie Meda and Nathan Mercuri’s wedding day was when they were pronounced husband and wife. At the reception the couple took a quiet moment to reflect on the planning and organising in the lead-up to the big day. “The day is so special and goes so incredibly fast that it’s so important to have a moment with your husband to sit back, have a look around and take everything in,” Stephanie said.

ROMANTIC: Flowers and candles in soft tones of pink and white created a romantic atmosphere for the wedding reception styled by Pelle’s Events. Beautiful bouquets of white roses were carried by the bride and her four bridesmaids, an elegant contrast to the bridesmaids’ soft pink gowns.

STAYING TOGETHER: A Mercedes Benz van, supplied by In The Go Limos transported the bridal party for the day. “We wanted all of the bridal party to be able to fit in one car so we could enjoy the day all together,” Stephanie said.

CHRISTMAS PROPOSAL: A Christmas morning marriage proposal was the perfect start to Stephanie and Nathan’s life together. “It was a lovely day to get engaged as we were able to celebrate with family all day,” Stephanie said.

MUSIC: An upbeat song choice, Kelly Rowland’s When Love Takes Over welcomed the newlyweds to their reception to get the celebrations started. Nathan chose Everything by Michael Buble for their first dance as a married couple. “It was very special and had meaning for both of us,” Stephanie said.
